The kids have been training hard, and the school Athletics Carnival looks like upstaging the events in Beijing this year! As usual, the P&C will be holding a lunchtime sausage sizzle King George Oval, so make sure you get your orders in using the order form in this newsletter. Copies will be available from the school office.

Wests Tigers will play their last home game for 2008 on the weekend of August 30th/31st, against the Cronulla Sharks. Orange Grove PS will as usual be parking cars in our school grounds, but this time we will be holding our 125th Birthday Footy Parking Sausage Sizzle as well. Game details are yet to be confirmed, but we will need extra people before and after the game to make this a truly memorable event! Please let Louise or Justine know, or drop a note in the P&C Box in the school office if you think you can help!

Wests Tigers staged a mighty comeback to try and topple the Warriors on Sunday, and while they were not successful, Orange Grove PS certainly were! By the time the game kicked off, we had parked an amazing 350 cars in our school grounds, and raised $3,500 towards our school improvements! Thank you to all the fantastic parking volunteers, your efforts were well appreciated!!

Congratulations to everyone who used the Walking School Bus service in Term Two, and got extra minutes in the Premiers Sporting Challenge as a result! Wests Tigers will again play a home game this Sunday, June 29th, against the NZ Warriors. Orange Grove PS will as usual be parking cars in our school grounds between 11.00am and 1.30pm, with kick-off scheduled for 2pm. We now have enough parkers for the day - thanks to everyone who has volunteered their time - we look forward to another hugely successful afternoon!
