***ATTENTION CANTEEN CUSTOMERS*** Canteen is open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday ONLY! We welcome anyone in the school community with a spare hour between 1-2pm, please drop a note in the P&C Box or let a member of the P&C know if you can help us out!

The P&C is contributing to the 125th Birthday Open Day by hosting a magnificent Morning Tea for all of our wonderful school visitors.
Anyone who thinks Tuesdays are just another day has clearly not been catching the Walking School Bus! The weather has been glorious, and the bus has been rolling in to Orange Grove in a truly rollicking way. The bus is still starting from the corner of Church & Mary streets for the next few weeks, so if you were going to join it between Charles St and the new first stop, walk up the hill to the Grocer’s on the corner of Mary St and we can pick you up there! We’ll see everyone next week for the regular fun trip to Orange Grove! And don’t forget, if you would like to try Driving or Conducting let one of the operators know!
The school has secured the loan of 13 large mounting boards for the 2008 Art Show, but we will need help getting them to the school (and returning them when the show is over). Please drop a note in the P&C Box, or let Karen or Louise know if you have a vehicle we could use!
The 2008 Father’s Day Raffle was drawn today - congratulations to the lucky Dads who won prizes this year! We will run a full list of winners in next week’s Newsletter. HAPPY FATHERS DAY ORANGE GROVE DADS!!
Leichhardt Oval had a very diminished crowd last Friday for the last home game of 2008, and the Tigers experienced defeat at the hands of the sharks, but at Orange Grove the torchlight brigade still managed to park 162 cars and raise $1,620! Our 125th Birthday sausage sizzle did well too, so a huge thank-you goes out to those who gave up their Friday night to help out!
