Orange Grove

A big thank you this week to the teachers, parents and students that helped make Education Day such a fabulous event.

2008’s first cake stall is to be held 23rd February at the Orange Grove Farmers’ Market and is to be coordinated by Years 1&2. Boxes are available from the P&C in the week before the stall and should be returned the Friday before or at the stall early that Saturday morning.
Volunteers for the stall are required, so if you can spare an hour or two on the day please add your name to the roster located on the noticeboard at the entrance to block B.

OGPS P&C meets the third Wednesday of each month during term. February’s meeting is on the 20th at 7pm in the school library. All are welcome to come along and find out about what’s happening at the school.

All parents are invited to the school on Wednesday 13th February for an informal introduction to your child’s classroom and teacher. This is not designed to be a 1 on 1 interview evening but rather to let the parents become familiar with their child’s environment at school. The evening wil begin with a general information session in block A hall after which parents are welcome to inspect their childs classroom where further particular information from the teachers, relevant to individual classes, will be available.

When : Friday 8th February, 3pm-4:30pm

Where : canteen area, rear of bock B

 Get to know other parents and teachers in a  friendly atmosphere over a cuppa and some snacks. Refreshments are provided but everyone is welcome to bring a plate if they can. Ask any questions you may have, share any stories of your first week or just catch up with the news for the new year - everyone is welcome.

Orange Grove P&C will be holding our annual car boot sale, cake stall and sausage sizzle during the markets this Saturday the 27th of May.
