Last Wednesday the P&C held a special morning tea on behalf of the school community to thank Christine, Lorena, Melina, Connie, Joan, Jodie, Lesley and Ron, and to let them know how much the school community values their contribution to the education and support of our children. We do hope they enjoyed it!

Two ticket books have gone home with the eldest sibling in each family, and each book of tickets has FIVE x $2 tickets. Parents/carers are reminded that we recommend children sell only to friends, family and neighbours. The P&C do not recommend door-to-door selling unless an adult accompanies the children. We also ask that those parents with children under 8 years of age sell the tickets on behalf of their children.

Congratulations everyone on a hugely successful Cake Stall! Once again we had significant obstacles to test us - the weather was frightful, everyone was freezing and the pergola was regularly being anchored by human force to prevent it soaring off over Lilyfield - and on top of that there were considerably less in the way of market patrons to swoop on our yummy cakes… But we started the day with more cakes than anyone can remember, and they just kept coming for two hours! They all looked awesome, and we had sold everything by 12.30. So thanks to everyone who baked, sold and purchased their way to Saturday’s record breaking result of $677.50. If Cake Stalls were an Olympic event, Orange Grove would be unassailable!
